Each year, Missouri's legislature passes a mountain of bills that become state law. Some of those laws solve problems that are obvious. Some head off future problems. House Bill #2041, which was passed this year, addresses a concern that sounds strange at first, but the bill could stop an even stranger possibility.
What does the bill do? It prohibits employers from requiring any employees to have a personal identification microchip implanted in their bodies.
It sounds like science fiction, but in fact, some people are having identification chips implanted for personal reasons.
